Issues
I have experience of working with these issues in particular.
-
The experience of anxiety and depression is very individual and yet there tend to be common underlying themes. I bring my own lived experience to exploring what these feelings are trying to tell us about our lives.
-
As a late-diagnosed autistic woman I bring my understanding of the importance in negotiating the world whilst retaining and cultivating your sense of self. I find that my understanding of neurodivergence (ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia etc.) is helpful and affirming for clients who are used to adapting themselves to the neurotypical world.
-
We find ourselves through our relationships with other people and relational issues or loss can destabilise us as we reassess our sense of self.
-
These can have a profound impact on your sense of self and your relationships with others.
-
Whether current or historical, abuse and trauma have far-reaching effects on our physiology, self-image and relationships. I can help you to contain your distress so that we can work through your experiences one step at a time.
-
I work to create an inclusive practice and a welcoming environment for marginalised identities and cultures. I work affirmatively with trans and non-binary clients.
